Conference Scope

The "International Symposium on Precision Quality Control of Aquatic and Agro Foods: Innovations in Green Process" is hosted by the Agri-Innovation Center (AIC), established to "forge a sustainable society and navigate the unpredictable VUCA era," in alignment with the Iwate University Vision 2030. The symposium aims to offer a comprehensive platform for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and policymakers to discuss and explore advancements in precision quality control techniques for aquatic and agro foods, with a strong emphasis on sustainable and environmentally friendly processes.

This symposium serves as an open forum for introducing and discussing the latest scientific advances and technological achievements in quality control and sustainability of food systems. Topics will encompass the most recent theoretical and experimental developments in agriculture and aquaculture, spanning from functional food and food processing to precision monitoring technologies, food quality and safety assessment, nutritional enhancement, sustainability, traceability, and food and nutrition education.

Participants will have the opportunity to share their latest research findings in fields related to sustainable food systems. Additionally, keynote lectures focusing on novel topics within food development and utilization will foster in-depth discussions and bolster understanding in these related areas. Join us as we collectively explore innovative approaches to ensuring responsible production and sustainable supply of high-quality, nutritious, safe, palatable aquatic and agro food products.
