About Agri-Innovation Center (AIC), Iwate University
The Agri-Innovation Center was established in April 2018 in order to “realize a sustainable society and pioneer this unpredictable VUCA era,” the Center will promote Iwate University’s unique technological innovations that develop sustainable agricultural technologies to adapt to climate change, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and maintain biodiversity to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) under three divisions: the Biological Production Division, the Food and Health Division, and the Eco-Environment Division. |
